The Bulletin of the History of Medicine is seeking a Book Reviews Editor to assist the journal editors in selecting books for review and assigning appropriate reviewers. The Book Reviews Editor will also consider and approve pitches for review. They will be supported in this endeavor by the editorial office, which will handle the administrative tasks of the position. The Reviews Editor will serve as a member of the journal’s Editorial Board.

The post could be offered either to a single applicant or to two people who would share the work between them, for example by commissioning reviews according to subject area. In the latter case, they would need to work closely together to ensure an appropriate flow of reviews.
