Boston Program and Registration
You can find the current draft of the program here. Please note that this document is still being edited and details may change.
Please note that we have new registration rates for Boston 2025! We want as many people as possible to be able to celebrate the AAHM’s 100th birthday at the meeting in Boston. Towards that end, we have revamped registration fees this year. All students will pay only $100 to register. Ordinary member registration will be $295, unchanged from last year. In order to balance the books, we are adding another tier of registration: $395 for a Supporting Member Registration. We urge members who have research or travel funds upon which to draw to opt for this level of registration; that additional $100 will directly subsidize the reduction in student registration fees. Thank you!
Early registration rates are valid until April 1. After April 1, registration for members will increase by $35. Registration will close on April 22. After this point, you must register in person at the meeting and member registration will increase by an additional $35.
You can register for the meeting here. If you prefer to register by mail, please complete this form and send it, along with a check, to the address listed.

On-street parking in the Back Bay area is metered and limited. Parking is available at the hotel for $70 per day; nearby garages range from $40-$70 daily depending on proximity.
Amtrak serves Boston’s Back Bay Station, a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel is a short walk from stops on the Green Line B/C/D branches (Hynes Convention Center stop) and E branch (Prudential stop).
Tours
AAHM will not be hosting formal tours this year. Attendees are invited to drop by the Massachusetts Historical Society (MHS) to see a medicine-themed exhibit prepared in conjunction with the annual meeting. Exhibition hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 to 4:45 and Saturday 10:00 to 3:00. MHS is a seven-minute walk from the hotel. More information about MHS will be available at the Registration Desk.
Meeting attendees are also welcome to visit the Countway Library of Medicine on Saturday, May 3, between 10:00 and 4:00 to see the Center for the History of Medicine’s current exhibit, Prescriptions for Peace.
