The Women Historians of Health and Medicine Committee provides networking, organizing and informal mentoring opportunities for women historians of medicine.  It convenes the Women Historians’ breakfast each year at AAHM, at which members introduce themselves and their research, and announce major publications, prizes, job changes, and opportunities for collaboration.  Conversations begun at the breakfast have resulted in a number of publications and collaborations.  New AAHM members and visitors are warmly invited to attend.  The Committee also hosts an active Facebook page, Women and Gender Diverse Historians of Health and Medicine, on which members make similar announcements through the year.
