This email was sent to us by Shelley McKellar - thanks for sharing! The top 10 reasons to study medical history was generated by students at her university, and it's really amazing.

Thanks!
Laura

In the spirit of the Clio Project initiated by you and other AAHM members, I wanted to share with you a recent list compiled by 4th year medical students at my university related to the value of the history of medicine -- "Top 10 Reasons why studying medical history may make you a better doctor." I was a bit blown-away by this, bracing myself for med students having fun with a course elective in their final term.

"Top 10 Reasons why studying medical history may make you a better doctor" https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/medicine/undergraduate/ume-blog/articles/2015/03/30/icymi-top-10-reasons-why-studying-medical-history-will-make-you-a-better-doctor (Students also had "honourable mentions" on this list -- more tongue-in-cheek, humourous points related to our medical history course that didn't make this published Top 10 list -- probably a good thing)
